The Opportunity Grant support low-income students pursing careers in high-wage and high-demand occupation.
Opportunity Grant Service
- Potential funding of school related expenses, including:
- Tuition & Fee up to 45 credits
- Up to $1,000 for books, tools and supplies
- Education planning to help you efficiently complete your program of study
- Assisting with addressing barriers to academic or personal success
- Help navigating college processes and services
- Referrals to community and college resources
Requirements
- Washington state resident (12 month minimum)
- Pursuing a certificate, Associate or BSN Opportunity Grant approved pathways
- Does not have Bachelor's degree or higher
- 200% of the Federal Poverty Level
- Must be in satisfactory academic progress and maintain a cumulative 2.0 (C) GPA.
*Household income is evaluated annually based on the most recent FAFSA/WASFA and updated federal guidelines.
