Tony was born in Everett WA and is a native of Washington state having spent most of his life here on the western wet green side of the mountains.   During his 20鈥檚 he also spent three years in the Los Angeles area. He is a graduate of Seattle Pacific University with a BA in History.

Tony has spent his career in various settings working with students in junior high, senior high, and college. For the past twenty years, he has worked as a manager and community coordinator with J 1 visa international student programs, facilitating home stays for students from over 70 countries. Tony enjoys many different interests. He is an avid reader of history and biographies, and exploring his roots. He enjoys all different kinds of music, especially vocal jazz, plays a little guitar and piano, enjoys watching movies and going to the cinema and the theater, Is a sports fan -  both participating in golf, tennis, racquet sports, skiing, and sailing, watching football baseball and ice hockey, He likes spending time working on his home and in the garden, hanging out with friends and family, and his beagle Lucy. He loves exploring and going on road trips locally and outside the area, and has a passion to travel having visited 42 of the 50 US states and gone to 46 countries and counting.  He enjoys hanging out with his extended family. He has a passion for helping international students and sees international education and the friendships built through exchange programs as a way to build greater understanding between peoples and to make the world we live in a better place.
